SPEC showcased its latest big project via a 3D scale model at the recently concluded Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC), last 15-18 November in partnership with the USA Pavilion.
The rendered model scale is an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of 6500 BPD Gasoline Production Complex project with all related utilities, tankages, loading/unloading, auxiliaries and buildings for the Fox Oil Company in Iraq.
The team and the 3D model proudly displays SPEC’s intensive capability and experience in developing projects on challenging terrains across the world with its rapid growth 20 years back in Houston, Texas.

SPEC ENERGY DMCC has been awarded a large integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning contract by Al-Barham Group, Iraq for a Modular grassroot 12,000 BPD Gasoline Production Complex located in Kirkuk, Iraq.
The Gasoline Production Facility will process a combination of Straight Run Naphtha and Untreated Natural Gasoline and consists of Naphtha Hydrotreater Unit, Semi-Regenerative Reformer Unit and Isomerization Unit as well as all associated utilities. When completed, the Gasoline Production Facility will produce premium Euro V Gasoline for the Iraqi market.

The project is expected to be complete installation end of 2021.

SPEC delivers Modular Coalescer and Balance Vessel Skids for Exxon’s West Qurna – 1 50000 BOPD Wet Crude Treatment System (T-130). When assembled, each of the modules weighed more than 100 Tonnes each and higher the Two (02) stories.
SPEC receives a contract for design and manufacturing of a 2 Phase Separation Package for Dublin Petroleum Limited, Meseda Field, Ras Gharib, Egypt. A stock 3 Phase Separation Package was redesigned and remodified and delivered with Six (06) weeks of Contract Client to enable Client to achieve an additional throughput of 10000 BOPD on their daily production.
Fabrication & Supply of Produced Water System
SPEC ushers in New Year by opening an office in Romania for complimenting the Engineering efforts for its world-wide operations. Located in the heart of Bucharest, the new office building is spread over three (03) floors housing more than Sixty (60) engineers in various disciplines including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil with access to the latest industry standard software supported by a high-speed network which enables real time review and updating of the engineering software across worldwide SPEC locations.
SPEC has been awarded a lumpsum turnkey contract for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) of the third phase of Gambat Gas Field with a processing capacity of 60 MMSCFD. A modular execution philosophy will be pursued for this Project whereby bulk of equipment will be pre-packaged at SPEC’s ASME & ISO certified facility in JAFZA thereby minimizing site construction time especially considering the challenging terrain on site.
